Terms of Service

Welcome to ATAP Electrical, LLC. These Terms of Service govern all services provided by ATAP Electrical, LLC to customers in the State of Maryland.  By scheduling services, approving an estimate, or submitting payment (including online payments), you agree to the following terms:

 

1. Services Provided

ATAP Electrical, LLC provides residential and commercial electrical services, including but not limited to installation, repair, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and related electrical contracting services.

All work is performed in accordance with applicable Maryland state and local electrical codes in effect at the time of service.

2. Estimates and Pricing

• Written estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

• Estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection.

• If concealed conditions or unforeseen circumstances are discovered, additional charges may apply.

• Any changes to the scope of work must be approved before proceeding.

3. Permits and Inspections

Where required, permits will be obtained as agreed in the project proposal. Inspection scheduling is subject to local jurisdiction availability and utility company timelines. ATAP Electrical, LLC is not responsible for delays caused by permitting authorities or utility providers.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

• Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area.

• Ensure pets and personal property are secured.

• Disclose known electrical issues or prior repairs.

• Provide access to electrical panels, meters, and service equipment.

If unsafe or hazardous conditions are present, work may be suspended until conditions are corrected.

5. Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• For larger projects, progress payments may be required.

• We accept online payments, credit/debit cards, checks, and other approved methods.

• Late payments may be subject to a service charge of 1.5% per month (or the maximum allowed by Maryland law).

By submitting online payment, you authorize ATAP Electrical, LLC to process payment through its secure payment provider.

6. Cancellations

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

• Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.

• Deposits for special-order materials are non-refundable once materials are ordered.

7. Warranties

ATAP Electrical, LLC provides a one-year workmanship warranty unless otherwise specified in writing.

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, tampering, or third parties.

• Acts of nature (storms, flooding, lightning).

• Manufacturer defects (covered by manufacturer warranty only).

Warranty service does not extend the original warranty period.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• ATAP Electrical, LLC’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the services provided.

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

• We are not responsible for pre-existing electrical conditions or deficiencies not visible at the time of service.

9. Emergency Services

Emergency service calls may be subject to additional charges. Response times are not guaranteed.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from services provided shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.

The parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally before pursuing legal action. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be handled in the appropriate court located in Maryland.

11. Changes to Terms

ATAP Electrical, LLC reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
